I began my real estate career at Islandia Real Estate in St. John, Virgin Islands in 1988, and migrated through the Caribbean, to St. Lucia and Nassau, before pointing the compass directly north in 1996 and arriving in Stowe, Vermont. With three children, we settled into a small home on a bucolic hillside about a mile from town, and filled the ramshackle barn with a pony, donkey, ducks, chickens and a rabbit. The kids (and dogs) eventually numbered four…quite a menagerie! It has been a wonderful place to call home and raise my family…the community is close-knit, activities abound, and I found my niche running an independent real estate brokerage, Beckwith Real Estate, founded in 2003.

I am pleased to share that I have recently merged my company with Vermont Real Estate Company to provide a broader scope of client services and marketing. With more than two decades of historical knowledge of property transactions in the Stowe area, and more than 35 years of real estate experience, I know it is imperative to monitor the local market to provide clients with the best service.
